My dog hates his dog food! How can I get them to eat?
Our 7-mo. puppy liked both varieties of Science Diet puppy food, but now just absolutely will not eat, even when they "dress up" for mixing with other tasty details on their plate. He will eat the egg or cheese or hot dogs around the food, but completely ignores the food. I heard stomachs is not good for puppies' to change the food, so I'm not sure what to do. Do not eat anything, but try!
Science Diet, in my opinion the food is not good. Research dog food: You can change of food, do it gradually over about five days. The mixture of 3 / 4 diet of science with their new food. Every day, increasing the new food. So do not get an upset stomach. Perhaps he has had too many deals do not give much cheese. not good for him, eggs are o: k. No hot dogs or sounds to me as if holding for trafficking and other things. not given treatment until he ate his meal. He will eat eventually. I mix in a teaspoon heated beaten a good dog food (excluding derivatives) with food for my puppies. They gobble up. (Merrick canned dog food smells pretty good too eat. As gift I give mine a few bites of apple or carrots occasionally. I had the same problem for a while.
