Are these teams recording i only need to record vocals, singing?

That will about do it. Audacity is good for freeware, but if you're willing to spend money on a good set-up, go for Pro Tools. Also, you want a decent set of headphones and speakers (not cheap-@ $ $ headphones or speakers) to mix your things properly.
